Watch Assoc Prof Fung discussing the RANZCO COVID-19 Triage Guidelines that determine which patients should be seen during the pandemic.

COVID-19 Implications on Retinal Diseases and Eye Health Professionals

Assoc Prof Fung wasn’t sure if he would be able to make this lecture, since it occurred less than 24 hours after the birth of his first daughter! Fortunately mobile phone tethering works and he was able to find a spare room whilst locked down at Prince of Wales Private Hospital.

COVID-19 has certainly been the topic of discussion this year. As Vice-chair of the RANZCO Clinical Standards Committee, and a member of the RANZCO COVID-19 Taskforce, he has been heavily involved at a College level. He helped co-ordinate the RANZCO COVID-19 Triage Guidelines, determining which patients should be seen when the situation was at its worst in Australia.

He discussed these issues in an international online videoconference, which can be viewed below.
